Valera the Pigeon has been living in the office for five years. Over this time, he has lost all signs of his “prime era” and entered a state of total fatigue.

In this series, I explore non-human agents and present fatigue as a property of the object itself, irreducible to human projection or metaphor.

This fatigue is the result of prolonged exposure to a disciplinary environment and the accumulation of time and context.

Importantly, I do not transform the object but simply remove it from its habitual functional environment and place it in the exhibition space, revealing its actual state.

Thus, Valera the Pigeon is presented not as an image but as a witness to his own deterioration, through which the object manifests an autonomous experience of existence.
