The graphic series is based on photographs of shadow and the inherent properties
of the material which determine the color from the outset. Over time, the trace left
by the pigment layer fades, either partially or completely, thus accentuating
the elusive nature of shadows that change, disappear and reappear throughout the day.
The pattern resembles lace, the only intangible thing created by human hands.

At the core of the process is a steady repetition of small strokes, creating rhythm
and inner tension.
